Well, David B. Grinberg … I can’t take it all in with just one read … wow. What strikes me first are the parallels between your dad & mom and mine. My mom wasn’t as ill as yours, but she was a very poor role model indeed. And my dad? An absolutely lovely, giving, caring man — so smuch so that many couldn’t figure out why he stayed with my mother.

Love is strange and hard to figure sometimes, isn’t it?

Wonderful to see how you and your dad made the most out the time you had; he was indeed very young (so says someone not so far off his age) when he died, and it had to hurt beyond anything you could have known until then.
