We recently finally some real rain as well, Dennett, and we sorely need it here in the northeast. Spring was fabulous, more than enough rain to get everything started up with vigor. Unfortunately, summer was dryyyyyyyy. Very dry. And even early fall wasn’t much until a few of those miserable hurricanes that whacked the south and southwest gave us a little up here.

And the other day, we got about 3 inches as well from some random storm. Gotta have the rain — and love your pictures!
