Travel absolutely broadens anyone’s perspective, as you and I know well, John White! My parents always traveled, and they’d come home with wonderful stories about folks all over Europe.

I was lucky to take a two-week trip around Europe myself my junior year in high school.

My daughters both traveled, and while they were growing up, we took in 6 exchange students. I worked for a seminar company 20+ years ago and traveled worldwide for them for five years.

There’s nothing like seeing for yourself how others are in their home countries — finding out what the truths are, and not depending on the news to “educate” us.
