The old adage of “better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt” resonates with me, David B. Grinberg. I am guilty of talking with my brain a minute behind my tongue, so I don’t think talking to a reporter would ever be a great idea for me.

That said, clearly your expertise in these matters would be hugely valuable to many who do need to speak with reporters for whatever reason. The internet is full of pundits who delight in repeating things that others said and shouldn’t have … no fun for those whose goofs can so quickly and endlessly be fodder for those looking for ways to hurt.

Another excellent post on stuff most of us rarely think about, let alone know much about!
