Ohhhh, Joe Varadi! What a wonderful post!

I also find some — not all — verbs that were nouns irritating, especially architect. I can’t explain it completely, but when someones says/writes “Let’s architect a solution,” I want to scream. It just sounds so . . . silly. Awkward. Prententious. Yes. That.

I’ve said “I’ll pencil it in” more times than I can count, even though I don’t think I even own a pencil anymore, and I’ve also used googling (who on the planet hasn’t???), and tabling. Never considered using minuting . . . and likely never will.

A fun post with a lot of truth in it, even if everyone who reads it will find their own version of it.

Thanks for the shout-out, and for the humor. 50 claps from me.
