My goodness, Karthik Rajan, what an adventure your article is! I had no idea about the last names of your part of India, although I do realize that a few other countries do things differently in terms of last names.

You have quite a gift of helping us all see things differently from what we consider to be the “norm.” And I value that because like so many others, I only know what I know.
