I know what you mean in terms of being near the ocean, Lisa Gallagher! I grew up in Marblehead, Mass., just a half mile from Preston Beach. We’d walk down there all the time!

I married a guy whose parents bought a beach house in a town just south of Boston, so our girls grew up on both the North River and the Atlantic Ocean.

Now, as you know, I live four houses up from Buttermilk Bay at the edge of Cape Cod, and I can’t imagine living anywhere else. Even in the winter, it’s stunning. But spring, summer, fall — it’s also soothing. Gorgeous. I look out of my windows and see the bay in all its beauty — I’m a very lucky woman.

I hope you get to one SOON!
