Honestly, Karthik Rajan! How could anyone give you just 10 claps for this article? It’s timely. It’s deep. It gives us idea we need to have!

And Mark Zuckerberg merely saying “mistakes were made” comes across as disingenuous … especially after his silence for nearly a week.

Why were they made? What led to that company — Cambridge Analytics — being able to do what it did? Where were the so-called brains at FB to stop such an intrusion? Why were there no safeguards in place?

I promise you, Karthik, I will no longer play any “games” on FB that want the names and contact info of my friends. I actually very rarely was willing to give that info anyway because I couldn’t figure out why that game would need it. Now? Not gonna happen!

Terrific article, Karthik!
