First Friday Funday of 2018
Yes, I know it’s only Thursday — read on! There’s a reason for this.
Well, we made it! It’s now 2018, and as one of the first Baby Boomers, the number of this year just made me shake my head. It’s so hard to believe — as was the first of the 2000s, right?
What has kept me going is enjoying life where and when I can. I first started blogging about three years ago, and I quickly decided that I had to have something fun to show my readers (not that I expected any readers — no, really, I didn’t) because American grammar and business writing are simply not fascinating topics for most.
No surprise that the Friday Fundays and the occasional Silly Saturdays have become favorites. Who doesn’t love fun stuff, especially at the end of a week?
I’m posting this one today, because the east coast of the U.S. is being hit hard with a fierce storm and I live up in Massachusetts, on the coast. Yeah. We expect 60–70 mph (96–121 kph) winds and maybe 12–18" (30–45 cm) of snow. Not as much as some of the rest of the country has experienced, but still significant, especially if we lose power.
So, let’s laugh in the face of danger, OK?
Now that’s an original way to show men’s and women’s rooms, right?
And my favorite from Dave Tinson:

WHICH ONE IS YOUR FAVORITE TODAY?
If you enjoyed these pics, please clap wildly (it’ll keep you warm as well!) so your friends and colleagues see the post and they may laugh as well. And I’ll be encouraged to continue the silliness.
Many of these funnies come from Facebook pages that you can access any time you need a few more good laughs. My favorites are Single Dad Laughing, I am not a grammar cop, Language Cranks Redux, Pun Based Humor, The Valley of Pun Memes, Wrong Hands, Tickle my Punnybone, and Tannuzzo Copywriting.
