BORING? What??????

Karthik Rajan, there are many words to describe you — delightful, friendly, warm, open, welcoming, thoughtful, honest, real — but boring?

No way in hell.

I remember meeting you in Atlanta last year, and your smile as we met at the elevators lit up the whole area! And everywhere you went during those two days, we all smiled back, so darned glad to have you in our midst.

Not in a thousand years would I have labeled you as boring. You weren’t the loudest talker (a blessing, really) and you weren’t the biggest ego (another true blessing), but you made us all feel good about ourselves and you.

Quiet is not the same thing as boring. It’s a gift that darned few of us have, myself included.
